Wine Paris is gearing up for an extraordinary showcase under its hallmark initiative, The Academy.

Set to unfold over three dynamic days from February 10 to 12, this program will host an impressive array of 130 events, featuring insights from approximately 250 professionals within the wine sector.

Diverse Topics and Highlighted Sessions

The agenda of The Academy promises a rich tapestry of topics, from the intricate shifts in consumer preferences to the evolving landscape of emerging markets.

Among the highlights is a deep dive into Uruguay’s lesser-known wine regions, alongside an exploration of traditional spirits from South Korea, broadening the horizon for attendees.

Prominent industry bodies will contribute to the program, most notably the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV).

Their conference on February 11 will shed light on historical trends surrounding re-export hubs and their pivotal role in the global wine industry.

Focus on Sustainability and Emerging Markets

Another session of interest is dedicated to the burgeoning African market.

On February 12, Chinedu Rita Rosa, founder and managing director of Vines by Rosa, will lead a discussion centered on wines crafted specifically for this vibrant market.

Sustainability will also take center stage during the event.

On February 11, representatives from Moët Hennessy will engage in a discussion focused on promoting agroecological transitions and regenerative practices within the industry.

Adding to the excitement, a panel discussion titled “Let’s Talk About Wine!” is scheduled for February 11.

Moderated by Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium, this conversation will bring together influential figures, including Miles Beale of the Wine and Spirit Trade Association, Don Saint Pierre from ASC Fine Wines, and Nicolas Ozanam, general director of the Federation of French Wine & Spirits Exporters.

The sixth edition of Wine Paris is set to impress, featuring 5,300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and anticipating around 50,000 visitors eager to connect and discover.
